Very awesome

It is one of the best college in the world and it also has world-wwide recognition. It enriches us with the knowledge of Ramkrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Vivekananda.The one and only negative thing is the quality of food but I also think this is the best which can provide with this much food.

There are different exams held for different subjects each of 50 marks. A lot of students appears for the examination. But unfortunately there are very few seats. The question paper is also standard with syllabus of class 11 and 12.

It also give a lot of opportunities to find a good internship platform through various initiatives like internshaala. The best department is Statistics where 50% students crack ISI exam for M.Stat. And others get easily to IIT for masters.

Almost 30-40 events are celebrated in our college. Stating from drama competiton, singing competition, dance competition to various seniors on special occasions. College also organise tours for students annually.

It's extremely cheap. As it's a government body. 3,000 rupees are fee structure which includes all type of fee like tution fee, hostel fee, and costs of food. Even compesations are made for economically week student. Even many students can study for free if he can provide enough evidences about income.

A huge number of scholarships are available. There are a lot of JBSTS scholars. Even I have personally qualifies for the Inspire scholarship ( It gives 3 lakh rupees in just 5 years). It gives all the opportunities to avail Central and state scholarship.

There is a lot of scope for the extracurricular activities. There is multu-gym, swimming pool, stadium and huge fields.A lot of competition are held like cricket matches, football matches, swimming competition and all.

It's a Resedential college, so hostel is compulsory. It's in very good condition. A very good hygiene is maintained. It has prayer hall and dining hall attached with it. Each room contains 3-4 beds with separate wardrobes.

The seniors and the alumni members are very helpful. Even they come to our rooms and ask for our problems. They motivates us and share their experiences. There is no question of ragging and all. The seniors are like our brothers who takes care of us.

After applying for the college in specific subjects, exams dates where mentioned. Various subjects are available. After the results, they give chances to the students in respective departments according to seats.

It's has one of the best faculty in Kolkata. It not only focusses about academics but also on man-making. It holds regular prayers 3-4 times a day along with meditation. There is a very huge campus with excellent facilities
