Best learning Institution in Agartala

Overall, I would recommend Holy Cross College as a good institution for building up a career. The college is well managed to raise the students to be a professional in everything they do.

The placement and job opportunities were not much conducted as the college is a private college and is in the process of developing in its own way. But the college provides placement assistance to all its students. There were also some well-known recruitment companies inviting for campus placements.

My college takes it very seriously when it comes to events. We celebrate every birthday of the faculty members especially the birthday of our Fathers (Rev.) the teacher's day, independence day, etc. We also celebrated Christmas. We have sports events, blood donation camps, talent hunt, Ramp walk competitions, etc and also DJ night was conducted once in every year. Also, Graduation day is conducted for the passing out students with big celebrations.

I took English as my major subject. And it sums up to Rs.21600 in the first year. And the monthly fees were Rs.1800 per month and it goes up to Rs.21000 per month. And the semester fees were Rs.7500 and then increase up to Rs.8000 and then goes up again to Rs.1100. And also the transport fee is 1200 per month.

No, I do not opt for any scholarship or education loan. The scholarship is mainly for Catholic students.

The campus life is quite strict and discipline is the number one priority and students are not allowed to go out from the college campus. It is a co-ed college. But as it is located in the rural area, on the outskirts of the city. The air is fresh and the environment is calm and peaceful, a very good place for students to concentrate on their studies and any curricular activities they want to pursue.

The alumni network is very good. The former students can visit the college and attend the events and functions as well. They also have a high chance of getting hired by the college itself. The senior students are very friendly and very active in guiding the juniors.

I was referred to take admission to this college by my school teacher and my parents. As this college has a direct admission policy and the college is highly rated by everyone in the society as well. Firstly, I took the admission form in the month of June on 13th which is the month of the opening of the admissions, from the college itself. Filled up the form and then took a few written test about why I choose to study at Holy Cross College. And then, I had counseling with the Principal. And proceeds with paying off the admission fees.

The faculty of my college are highly qualified and they are always ready to help us in every way they can and are always available for the students. The English faculties are very friendly and the faculties from the other department as well. They provide sufficient materials and even notes to the students.
