Remarks
I am currently in the seventh semester of 5 years Integrated Course. I have always wanted to work as a corporate lawyer. My experience has been a mixed bag thus far. Some of the faculty is good, rest is shit. Academics and the placements are good though.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is quite flexible and appealing to the majority of the students. Though, everyone has their favorite subjects, which is more appealing than others. Mine was the company law which came in the sixth semester. Apart from that the Moot Court is another exciting aspect of the course.
Placement Experience
Special training opportunities was also provided to us to brush up our interview skills. Some of the frequently visiting companies are ICICI, Mecon Ltd, Wipro, Bajaj Allianz, Mind Crest, etc. Placement offers are also decent.
College Events
Some of the activities outside the classroom are Freshers Day celebration, Panel Moot Competition, Guest Lectures, College Day, Women’s Day, NSS activities, etc.
Campus Life
The campus life is good. The infra is also good, and there was a lot of greenery in the campus. I have made many friends from my department and from other departments. The college also emphasizes on maintaining the gender diversity.
Alumni/Alumna
I am not much aware about the alumni network of our college. But many of the seniors are associated with many big firms, which do pay a visit to their college.
Admission
Admission is on the basis of class 12 marks. Just fill the form and wait. Since there are only 60 seats, you have to be academically good to be shortlisted.
Faculty
Some are very helpful, always ready to help and very open to opinions of students, always striving to improve and give more opportunities to students. Rest are not qualified and not accessible. Overall, we are getting a practical experience which is really helpful. Notes and good research gave us enough material to write in exams.
