Course Curriculum Overview
Usual class timings were 9 AM to 4.30 PM. The overall standard of teaching was good. We have to submit many assignments. The syllabus was divided into 6 semesters, starting from the basics in the first semester and ending with the training for the placement process.
Placement Experience
The placement record is pretty good here. Many companies participate in the recruitment drive at the AVS college like Tech Mahindra, Bluewhale solutions, HCL, and many more. The average salary is around Rs. 2.2 lacs per annum and the highest salary is above Rs. 3.5 lacs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for one year was 70,000 INR. So my four year UG course cost me around 2.8 lacs. The facilities provided by the college are good. There is a transportation facility, gym facility, hostel facility, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship options are available for meritorious students. Some students also avail as much as 100% fee concession.
Campus Life
The campus is very lively. There are a lot of activities which are organized in the college on an annual basis. Some of these activities are Children welfare drive, Rotaract Club initiatives, Blood Donation and more are organized by the student societies. Friendship Day, Pongal and cultural festivals are also celebrated on our campus.
Hostel Facilities
There are two hostels, one for boys and one for girls. The rooms in the hostels are spacious and clean. The mess food is affordable and cheap. The hostel fee is around 4k/month.
Admission
The admission was based on the class 12 exams. The counseling process is conducted by the TNEA. TNEA is responsible for seat allocation.
