Remarks
I took admission to the B.Sc Chemistry course at SN College. The academics are overall good here. The placement opportunities are limited, but the faculty is very supportive and cooperative. The campus life is also good. I really miss my college days.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure was very thorough. The students have to choose elective subjects along with the core subjects. The syllabus attempts to provide a 360 view of the political domain.
Placement Experience
There is a big chance for B.Sc Chemistry students in any university. They are placed in multinational companies. The average salary scale is INR 20000 per month. Though, the placement varies from department to department.
College Events
Our college organizes debate competitions, quiz competitions, and many other competitions. The college takes part in many societal initiatives as well, like tree plantation, a tourism promotional campaigns, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee was 2500, which I was exempted since I belong to the SC category. The scholarship option is also there in the SN College.
Campus Life
Campus life was a festival in itself. Some functions will be upcoming while a previous one is ending. The main festival which is celebrated in the campus is Onam. Extracurricular activities are promoted by the faculty members themselves, as it is aimed at the overall development of the student.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is not available in the college campus itself. There are accommodations options near the college campus.
Admission
The admission was on the basis of the academic record. The students with good marks in +2 will get admission easily.
