Review of my college

Overall, my college remains almost on the top in south 24 parganas under Calcutta University. College provides a lot of facility by which students are benefitted very much. The infrastructure provides lot of subjects to get taught in same college at same time. But somewhere I think the management of the official heads must improve due to which students suffer a lot.

There are a huge number of courses offered right here. Arts, commerce and science all are taught in 2 different times altogether, i.e., morning and afternoon. The subject offered here are very much productive.

Placements and job opportunities are not that high, rather not good for all the courses. But students from physics department, electronics department have been placed from here after the graduation course. No, my college doesn't provide internship.

Culturally my college is very much progressive. My college celebrates different kinds of events like fresher's party, fests, teachers' day celebration etc. My college encourages sports too. Many ecofriendly events has also been done here like planting trees and all. Once a year college holds a blood donation camp.

Fees structure is feasible. Not much expensive. The fees structure has been set considering the financial condition of each and every students those who take admission. Besides this, college uphold many facilities that WB government has given us like kanyasree. This helps many students.

I am not sure about this thing that if this is availed in my college. But for now I have not heard any of my friends or batch mates have got this. If this is true, they should really proceed with the thought of availing scholarship or loan

Apart from studies, college gives us time to pursue our extracurricular activities. There are indoor games present in the common room. Labs that are used by the students are very clean and provided with all the things necessary. Sports like football and cricket tournaments are held annually.

No I haven't opted for hostel. There is no facility like this in my college. Students are not facilitated by this hostel thing. If this happens in near or far future, we students will be very much benefitted by this.

The alumni and all the senior students are very helpful to the current students. They guide them properly and help them whenever needed. Some kinds of official helps are also provided by them. They help the students indifferently during any kind of event.

The admission is actually based on merit list. I scored a marks in my higher secondary exam from which I was selected by this college. My score was more than the cut off marks and so I got the admission in the first counseling.

Because of the wide range of courses offered there are a lot of faculties of different subjects and all of them are equally good, student friendly and helpful. They are very much sincere about the students and make the students study hard.
