Every thing has a bright and dark side ,so as my university. The college has a very good teaching and learning environment,good faculties of the state,better space to excell personalities. It provide a second home to every students. Including this the one thing i think the drawback is during the time of college election the campus remain little affected by political parties. Though the authorities are taking sharp steps against it. I think this is the negative side of the university.

the course curriculum is excellent. The course is not just to pass the semester exams. It is designed in such a way that the students are sble to prepare the national level entrance tests e.g. NET,GATE,JEST,ICAR etc. The exams are conducted on semester basis. Which include an internal exam followed bt semester exam at the end of each term.

So many students of our institute are now scientists at BARC,DRDO and ISRO. Many have been appointed in ONGC,IOCL like PSUs. Every year about 50% of the total strength of our department get PhD in various institutes all over india. Many students want to do internship under the professors of our department. Though the college don't have special funding for stipends,students can join with their external fellowship schemes like INSPIRE.

Every year the foundation day of thr university is celebrated with a great arrangement. There are about 27 Departments are there in the university,and all department celebrate their annual function in a perticular time of the year. Along this national observables like independence day, republic day, utkal divas and pujas like saraswati puja and ganesh puja are celebrated with huge arrangement.

it's very feasible and helpful to students of every class of society. The fees are about 5000-6000 for admission with readmission fee about 1000 each year. The hostel admission is abou 4000 rupees in which 1000 rupees are refundable. Besides students have to bear their own messing charges.

Although the university don't provide any scholarship to the students, there are many scholarships a student can avail on the basis of his/her merits from state or central govt. Namely INSPIRE,e-medhabruti, IMA scholarship,UGC rank holder scholarship and so on.

The university also have lots of scope for the students to excell in sports and extra curricular activities. The dancing,singing,acting skills of students can be seen in the cuktural events of the students. There is a sports council in our university which conduct various inter college,inter university sports meets and kerp students about other sports related news. The labs of the departments have so good lab equipments.

I had opted the hostel in my postgraduation career. The infrastructure is very good and very hygienic. In the first year you have to share a double seated room with the partner of your choice,may be from your department or from any other. Where as in 2nd year you will be provided a single seated room.

As i said above,the alumni of the university are spread all over the world in better possions. The alumni meet is conducted every year to keep the currennt students in touch with the eminent personalities. The help students to select their carrer and guide them. They also take many students as their intern in various vacations and free tome projects.

You have to apply first for getting into various courses. Then there will be entrance tests conducted by respective departments. On the basus of rank secured in the entrance test,you get admitted in the college.

the faculties are best in the university. The faculties of our department are alumnus to IITs ,TIFR and IISc. they also have there PDF degrees from world class institutes. They all have so many research journals published in world wide papers.
