About my college

There are both positive and negative remarks for my college this year TCS has designed the syllabus for the first year students it is quite helpful for them but we can't get that chance we have to read that old syllabus that means Ian Eve and I have to read some subject related to other branches this year they have eliminated this

Course curriculum is as like other deemed universities and the best thing is that we have to write three mid terms and they will consider best of any 2 and that two consists of thirty marks and remaining 10 marks is based on the assignments and quizzes assignments can be submitted both online and offline remain 60marks are total marks of the end semester and each subject consists of 5 modules. Overall the exam structure and course is good.

Placements and jobs are handled very good because we pay lot of money there are well assigned placement officers they take care for each and every student there are campus recruitment training classes are held during the 3rd year second semester and 4th year also.There are almost 50 Percent of students who opt for higher studies those who are interested in campus placement they can crack their job easily there are many mass recruiters like TCS and Accenture this year nearly 250 students are selected for TCS ninja drive and 311 are selected for Accenture drive

There are many events celebrated at our college like technical and non technical fest there are groups like IEEE and iete they almost conduct tech fest's for ece and see students while there are other student bodies for cse students and kalakruthi is for all students all students can show their talents in kalakruthi is student organizations which undertake All the college level fest's This is quite helpful for management students those who do BBA and MBA they learn so many things from fests

Fe structure is little bit better feasible as compared to another deemed university in other places they cost because they give us placement and for other expenses they cost us I have joined 2017 and my total fee is nearly 10lakh I think this is the best option for me to do engineering in my budget because if I choose other college then it may lead to money problem to my family I think the fee is feasible finally

The scholarship are available at our college they give us 10k per semester we have to apply semester wise the criteria for scholarships is that attendance should be minimum 75% and the annual income should be less than 2lakhs and there are limited scholarships available for the students there are no other scholarships available at our college for every semester we have to apply and check our names on the notice board and the amount is credited after the 6 months of application approximately.

Labs sports and extra curricular activities are very good at our college it depends on how we utilise our resources we have to attend labs regularly lab technician are very helpful and they try to clear our doubts and they are very friendly fests are completely student based like IEEE and iete etc and kalakruthi gusac etc are the other places where we can show our co curricular talents and we learn how to perform and what to perform auditions takes place so that students are selected

I have opted for day scholar because if I join college hostel then the expenses are more it depends on us they charge more amount for the first year boys nearly about 10k per month whereas fir girls it's best to stay at college hostel for safety and other reasons.In my opinion it completely depends on you and your financial status for me I think it's very expensive so I have opted for day scholar and now I'm staying at private hostel nearthe college

Yes the alumni and seniors are very helpful with the reference of our seniors and alumni I have joined gitam from my city of residence one senior have been selected for Microsoft and he got package of 15lakhs he said me about the college and pattern while I was joined my college

I have met the admission department and submitted my documents and they have verified my documents. At the time of my joining I was already late because I opted for spot admission and then deposited demand draft at that day only and took admission at that time already classes were started

Faculty in our college are both friendly and strict also.All the faculty are well experienced and they teach well on the other side some faculty give printed materials and others give some notes and they check that notes regularly in case if we have any doubts they are always ready to help us I can say that faculty are good and they are helpful
