University of Allahabad has actually a lack of teachers and also during the time of student elections, all the condidates that are are nominating themselves for elections will be promoting themselves in the campus and that creates a disturbance in the studies during that period otherwise everything is great here.

University of Allahabad has different course in different discipline like arts, commerce, science, law and computers. The course is mainly established by their respective faculties. It takes an annual exam, there is no semester scheme, the exams are held from 2nd week of march to first week of may depending upon your course.

Many professional courses like MBA and Mass communication has a very good placement, but if you are a non professional degree holder like me Bsc- Maths, then there is no placement overall. University of Allahabad has actually tied up with local centers and also provide internship to students, but I don't have a professional program, so I don't know much about that.

University of Allahabad doesn't conduct any event and most of the events are mostly done by students. There are various events like fresher and farewell party and Diwali Utsav that are celebrated here but they are mostly organised by the 2nd year students, and the funds are collected by all the students from 1st to final year, no funds are actually given by University, some Professors also give funds to us for the events but not everyone of them. And one more thing all the department conducts their own events like Bcom students and Mcom students coducts their own events separately and the same happens with other departments too, so if the event is likely to be held by Bsc-Bio students then Bsc-Maths students are not allowed there.

The fees structure of University of Allahabad is very reasonable and Affordable. The fee is around 1K for Bsc, Ba and Bcom, and for other professionals courses like Food thecnology and Mba it varies from 10K to 60K.

University of Allahabad doesn't has its own scholarship program, and the scholarship is actually provided by state government. The scholarship given by state government actually bears all your expenses of the last year so you actually don't need any type of loans.

University of Allahabad has many extra curricular activities. Like you could opt for NCC, and they also organise cricket and football events. The labs are here fully equipped and has trained lab assistant too.

University of Allahabad has a students Union that is actually elected by students every year by common University elections. These elected students becomes the representative of common students and they help students in every single way. And one more thing since you are actually not well exposed to other departments these students becomes very helpful.

University of Allahabad takes its own entrance exam and the form is available from mid aprail to early may, entrace examination helds on last week of may, and the result is out by 3rd week of june. Then the celected candidates are called on merit wise till the seats are not filled completely, and it's an Central University so it has some reserved seats too. For Btech program admission is done by IIT-JEE MAINS score.

University of Allahabad has 4 faculties namely Arts, Science Commerce and Law. All he faculties have their seperate campuses and conducts courses in their respective fields. Like commerce faculty conducts B.com, M.com and Mba. Science faculty conducts Btech, Bsc-Maths/Bio/Home Science, BCA etc. Since it's an Central University so infrastructure is great and has old British Architecture, which in terms make it very beautiful. All the professor here are actually highly educated and knows about their subjects very well but University of Allahabad has a lack of Professors in all faculties, so the teacher-student ratio is not idle.
