Review of Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg

There are so many positive remarks for my college. Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg is only the best private engineering college in central India. My college faculties, infrastructure, placements, etc are very good. When I passed out from my college, I miss my colleagues.

There is various course curriculum at Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg. So many branches like Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and communication, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and so many. For Chhattisgarh students there is CGPET exam is compulsory and for other good Jee Mains is compulsory.

Placement and job opportunities are also very good in my college in comparison with other private colleges. Not 100% placements but 70-80% students placed every year. In my college average package is 4-5 lakh. In my college companies comes for internships for 3rd-year students and they select on some criteria. My college does not provide direct internships for B.E. students.

There are so many events celebrated in my college. The main cultural and technology event is Ojas every year in the month of February. And also so many other events like the Arduino workshop, Raspberrypi workshop, Robotics workshop, and so many other events are organized every year.

Feasible fee structure like 32000 to 35000 per semester. Hostel fees are also very feasible only 28000 per semester. Also provides free education for some poor students and toppers in the Entrance exams.

There is a scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students whose father's income is less than Rs 1 lakh per annum. In my college Uco bank is available and the bank provides loan facilities for both education and hostel.

If I am talking about extracurricular activities that are very good in my college. There are lots of extracurricular activities like the photography team, Nukkad Natak teams, projects & technology club, Research team and Quiz organizing team, Oja's fest, and lots of things. So many labs are in my college. There is very big ground for sports. And so many others things are in my college.

There are separate hostels for every year of students. Infrastructure is very good, there is separate big ground in my college for every year of students in the hostel. Food is also hygienic and good but not like home.

Our College alumni and seniors are very helpful. Lots of alumni who open their own company also come here for placements and talk to students about how to study and all. Our seniors are also very helpful they are ready to help us any time. They also help us with money with lots of poor people.

I got admission through Jee mains marks basis. Firstly I was applied for counseling which is for various branches and then after my second choice Information Technology branch was alloted me to 1st round of counseling. I was happy with my branch and I was taking the admission in the 2016-2020 batch.

Firstly I want to say my college faculty are very good by nature wise. They help us too much for anything. Our faculties do not help only good and bright students. they also help those who are not good at studies and they encourage every student. They are not only taking theory periods much, but they are also taking so many practical classes.
