Along with academics our college motivates students towards extracurricular activities like Yoga, NSS, etc. Republic Day celebration and other national celebrations are celebrated in the college campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure was a mixed bag of theory and practical classes, so as to provide a hands-on experience to the students. The syllabus was very informative and thorough, and we learned quite a lot in terms of using all the techniques for a mutual growth of both agriculture and students.
College Events
Vanavarayar is the best college for the agricultural research and a single place where you can learn both production and post-harvest skills. Though, the VIA has limited placement options, the overall industry exposure is good. Also it is very much affordable.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The one year fee is 23K. My total fee for the four year course was less than a lac.

Yes, our college offers many scholarship options for the meritorious students. A Gold Medal is awarded to the university rank holder.
Campus Life
The campus life is pretty good. We had lots of fun, while learning. We made many friends, both teachers and students.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college also had an alumni association. We used to invite alumni of the college, who are working on a good position
Admission
Admission to any agricultural course in the state of Tamil Nadu is done by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. They conduct a basic counseling process, for the purpose of seat allotment.
Faculty
There were around 36 faculty members when I was there. We had very good relations with most of our faculty members. They were very helpful whenever we needed guidance.
