I did a BA in Education from Salipur College. I am a 2017 batch pass out. The college is located 25 km away from the district headquarters. The college is offering quality education at some negligible prices.
Course Curriculum Overview
The classes are held till 2.30 post which students get a lot of personal time. The syllabus was also good. It covered all the necessary element of my Sociology program.
Placement Experience
No placement assistance is provided by the college. A limited number of companies, like Vedanta visit our campus for the recruitment process. Apart from that, the placement process is very poor.
College Events
The extracurricular activities are very prevalent in Salipur College. NSS activities, NCC activities, Rovers and Rangers club, and many other clubs are present there in the college and remain active throughout the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There is no course fee in this college. Additional charges are also nominal. Our college is providing an exceptional opportunity for the students who dream of higher education, but can’t afford the fee of the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship options are available for the meritorious students. Prerna and Jindal are some of the scholarships available for students who satisfy the minimum eligibility.
Campus Life
The campus life is okay. Infrastructure could have been better. The overall management has a lot of scope of improvement. I was a part of Rovers and Rangers club and had a lot of fun, on each of our outings. The overall infrastructure was good including the labs and library, etc.
Hostel Facilities
There are two hostels in the college. The hostel fee is 2500 Rs for boys. The hostel hygiene is good but the food is bad. Though
Admission
The admission process for admission to Salipur College is pretty straightforward. There is no entrance exam. You just have to be a class 12 pass out.
