Remarks

The rules and regulations are very strict. We have to maintain 75 %attendance otherwise we were not allowed to sit in exam. Poornima college of engineering offers B.tech only. The degree is provided by RTU. Poornima offer B.tech in 7 branches ME,EE,CS,CIV

Entrance Preview

I took RPET(Rajasthan pre engineering test). I got 8250 rank. My senior suggested to choose this college and find it better.

Internships Opportunities

There are many company visited this year like Infosys,tega industris,I gate,lintech electric,kamal kogent,au financier,nagaro,girnar software,droidffin software mahindra ssg,Indian Navy,Indian army etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

130 are placed in Infosys this year. 1 is selected in poly cab wires. Infosys provide 3.1lpa. Lintec offer 3 lpa. The package is almost more than 2.5 lpa.

College Events

Many events are organized in the college. There are three cultural and technical fest are celebrated. Adhar,prayogam,aarohan etc. Adhar for 1st year student only in adhar technical project exhibition is done. The project made by first year student are displayed in the adhar.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. The fee is 68000 each year. Hostel fees is 75000 to 85000. But know a days the fees increased and now the is almost 75000.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there is no facilities of scholarship and loan. A placement cell available for student. The seat's are allotted by RTU so top 3student in each branch pays only 10000 par year for annual fees there is no scholarship provided by PGC.

Campus Life

Poornima group of colleges each year organise poornima manthan.its a debate competition for all student of PGC.1st winner price money is 5000 and second winner price money is 2500. Many work shop are organized by the college for student like ISHARE,ASHARE etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities is very good.there are four hostel in PGC.gayatri,gurushikhar etc. Gayatri hostel for girls and it is situated in the college campus. Rooms are available with ducting or non ducting.food is of good quality.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The college provide a email to each student so they be in contact with each pass out student. College also held alumni meet each year.in which we come in contact with our senior and get some knowledge about outer world.

Exam Structure

We face mid term two time. One final exam taken by RTU. In each mid term we had to face practical exam too. In the end end term practical are also taken.so totally four time we face exam.

Faculty

Faculty are good. Each faculty have more than 2 year of experience. The soft skill faculty are from MBA background. Faculty have good technical knowledge.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
