Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is very good and informative. My program had a mix of both theory and practical classes. The college has labs, with full fledged set of tools like a centrifuge and other tools. We got hands-on experience with these practical classes.
College Events
The college pushes forward the students to participate in all sorts of extracurricular activities. Our college used to organise an annual sports day in which the best athletes from the college would participate. Not only the students but the teaching and non-teaching staff also take part in these activities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the UG program is around INR 6000 for the course, which is very much affordable. The college offers quality education at such a nominal price, which embarks upon their dedication towards the ideology of Swami Vivekanand.
Campus Life
Vivekananda College has good canteen facilities which offer good & hygienic foods during college hours. Throughout the year we would organize different academic & extracurricular activities in our college. The social life is good, all the teaching and non-teaching staff is good here.
Admission
The admission is on the basis of the merit list prepared on the basis of class 12 marks. Students have to fill out the application form, in order to be considered for the merit list. The selected candidates have to appear for the counselling process.
Faculty
The faculty was very supportive and shared their personal experiences with us. Faculty was well qualified and had been associated with research in some shape or form. They would discuss the latest discoveries or update in the biotech industry, which helped us in getting a 360 degree view of our course.
