Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is as per the university guidelines. It actually helped me evolve as a person. The exams would be held biannually, and they account for both internal assessment marks and theory marks. Clearing both the elements individually was a prerequisite for the successful clearance of the program.
Placement Experience
The placement record is very bad in our college. Although they do provide skill development training to the students who wish to go for a job, although most of the students go for higher studies.
College Events
The college is an active member of NCC and NSS. We also celebrated some national and state holiday events like Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Jayanti, Gandhi Jayanti. Our sports team not only participated in the annual sports competitions but won many awards and accolades. Workshops on different informative topics were another highlight of our session.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is almost nil because the university is state-sponsored. Our college also offers many fee concession schemes and scholarship options.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Uluberia College Non-teaching staff scholarship is awarded to the students of Uluberia College securing highest marks in Arts, Science and Commerce streams, donated by the Non-teaching Staff Association. I won the scholarship when I was in the second year of my graduation.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good. Even filling out this form made me nostalgic. I had a very good time at the campus. The college had a very good campus and infrastructure. The genuinely of the people here is something that you will miss once you move out from here.
Admission
Admission is on the basis of the merit list. Students need to apply for the courses they are interested in. The application is only in the online mode and the students are allocated a seat on the basis of their class 12 marks.
Faculty
The faculty has an ample amount of experience in the teaching domain and that’s also reflected in the standard of teaching. The faculty would take the initiative of teaching the students even in the absence of basic infrastructure. We had a very good bond with all of them and we are in touch with all of them.
