Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was nice and pretty thorough. We learned the evolution of sociology and its importance for society. The upcoming semesters were much more intense, where we learned about the ideologies of sociology. The course was of three years, and pretty decent to establish a base for the future.
Placement Experience
On-campus placement is not there in college. Students have to look for a job on their own.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was pretty nominal. The college doesn’t charge any fee as such, there is some nominal fee for registration and examination fee. The college is pretty affordable and offers all the amenities on a zero to negligible prices.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship options are available for the meritorious students of the college. The college offers also offers a scholarship for students from the economically weaker section. Students can also apply for various scholarships offered by the University of Gour Banga.
Campus Life
The campus life is good. Making friends is easy, chauvinism is not there. You just have to look for like-minded people. The college is very active in terms of all co-curricular and extra-curricular
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is also provided by the college for both boys and girls. The hostel is very much comfortable and feels like home. I made a lot of friends in the hostel, which helped me in making unforgettable memories and covers the entire syllabus on the last day of exams.
Admission
Admission to UG programs is given on the basis of the candidate’s merit in the 10+2 examination. So the higher you score in class 12, the better will be your chances to get an admission.
