Remarks
The Nowgong Engineering College is an autonomous college and only college providing higher education in the Chhatarpur district. The college offers basic engineering in three streams and I did my graduation in the civil. The facilities provided are good, but their own campus is still yet to function.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure was very nicely curated and allow students to grow their level of understanding along with it. Our college adapted the semester system, hence the exams would happen twice a year.
Placement Experience
The placement record is not good in our college since it is still a new college. They have little to none corporate tie-ups. The college does there best to prepare students for the corporate world
College Events
Our college organises many field trips to give the students the necessary corporate exposure. Apart from that many different kinds of activities are organised throughout the year like yoga, annual day, farewell celebration, guest lectures, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for my UG program was very cost-effective. One year fee was around 25k per annum. Which includes tuition fee and registration fee. The college also provides facilities like Smart E-Library, Seminar Hall, Drawing Hall, Auditorium, Special Coaching Classes for SC/ST Students, R.O. Water Facilities, etc.
Campus Life
The campus life is good. It’s still a new college and they are exploring themselves. They don’t have their own campus, but the temporary campus is also good. Their own campus is currently under construction. Farewell, and freshers party are the main highlights of the session.
Admission
Admission is on the basis of the merit list. The students have to fill out all the necessary details along with their JEE Main scores and pay the application fee. The cut off is not that high for our college.
