Decent College for PGDM students

CAT i scored 91.6 percentile in my CAT exam according to my score FORE School was one of the best colleges I could opt for it is located in the heart of Delhi. It has an experienced faculty, with a healthy mix of visiting and permanent. The college attains a 100% placement record every year the average package also increases year on year.

The college follows a trimester based system we are required to select our electives in the second year, as the first year is general PGDM, where one learns subjects in all the fields of MBA. In the second year, one can take up two specializations. I happened to take up marketing and HR as mine. The specializations on grab are Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, Strategy, etc.

My internship experience was very enriching. Being a fresher i wanted to gain experience in the field of marketing and sales. I got exactly that there are mix of industries which come along with big brands like Asian Paints, Hector Beverages, Deloitte, EY etc, many promising start ups also show up. The start ups often offer a lesser stipend than the experienced brands but the opportunity to learn in a start up is much more.

Fore has a placement record of 100% year on year the average package offered also increases every year the companies which come are mainly for the profile of Sales and Marketing but companies for other profiles like Finance, HR and operations do come too for an attractive package.

There is one main fest of the college which happens once every year called genesis there are various management as well as cultural events which happen during the two day fest the fest attracts participation from reputed institutes through out the country.

Total fees for the college is 11 Lakh. We have to pay 2.75 Lakh four times in two years the fee is a little expensive although, there are scholarship opportunities a student can avail to.

Although I have availed of any such scholarship or loan facility but there is a scholarship option for students this offer is rolled out by the college authorities every year and any student can apply for the same.

Campus of the college is not the best as the area of college is small but things have been improving within my stay at the college, there has been a lounge area, TT tables and badminton area developed within the campus. There are various committees which organise their competitions year round to keep the students engaged other than that, all the basic facilities required for a MBA college is present.

The hostels are probably the only negative point about the college the college does not have hostels of their own they have tied up with a third party dealer for hostel facilities at a location 1-2 KMs away from the college. The hostel mess food provided

The alumni of the college are well settled working in reputed companies although there should be an improvement in the student-alumni interaction the alumni committee organises two events to take care of the same but there is no proper channel through which a student can interact to the alumni .

Exams are held every 3 months at the end of the trimester there is a mid term in the middle of every trimester as a MBA course, the curriculum is supposed to be hectic but this does not prevent us to have occasional fun once in a while .

The faculty in our college has got a vast industrial experience almost all the faculty have done their Phd for has many faculties from reputed colleges like IIM-A, IIM-C, etc. The college also keeps a good mix of permanent vs temporary faculty members .
