Remarks
The college is very good. The only issue is that the fee structure is high compare to the other colleges in Gujarat but the facilities you get is also far good than other colleges. The facilities are supportive.
Course Curriculum Overview
The whole structure of electrical engineering is good at Nirma. There are total 3 exams and one practical exam is being taken in a Semester. The first exam is called class test which is of 30 marks and it is online test. The second test is of 40 marks and it is offline. The practical exam is called LPW which contribute 20% in the final marksheet. And the last exam is of 100 marks called Semester End Exam. That exams continue 40% of your result.
Placement Experience
The placement of electrical engineering in Nirma in 2019 was very good. Approx 110 students were placed in different copanies. The companies like ABB, reliance,Adani power, Torrent power, adani port, adani green energy, evosys came in placement.
College Events
There are various Technical and cultural events has organized in college. NU tech which is national level technical fest is being organized. Vaudeville which is cultural fest in that competition like singing, dancing takes place.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Compare to other colleges in Gujarat the fee structure is expensive. In my batch the fee was 141000 per annum. Which high compared to other colleges but the facilities you get is very good. You have to pay fees semester wise.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yeah you will get scholarship from the college. The criteria is based on your 12 the marks and your family income. There are three catogeries in scholarship the one in that you will get 90000 INR in second you will get 50000 and in third you will get 25000.
Campus Life
There is a annual sports week is organized in college. Stutends take participation in various sports like cricket, football, lawn tennis, table tennis, chess, tug of waretc. The winners gets prices. The labs have all the equipments.
Alumni/Alumna
There is alumni network. All the students have to enroll in that alumni network compalsary. The seniors are very supportive. They help juniors in all the way. To complete the assignment and in all that stuff.
Admission
I've got admission in college through ACPC. In Gujarat the admission in engineering is handled by ACPC. In that based on your 12th score and JEE score rank is produced. And based upon that rank the admission process is being start. You have to choose colleges according to that rank. This whole process is online. After selection of the colleges you got the college according to your rank.
Faculty
The faculty of Nirma is well educated. Most of professors have done pHD from reputated colleges like IITs, IISs,NITs etc. All the professors are very supportive and help students to solve the donuts. The complete whole the syllabus in class.
