My review

I would say the college is good enough to get you after engineering life successful, especially in computer science. Here students have grabbed a whopping package of 49 LPA. So you will enjoy the 4 years here and it will help you a lot.

The course curriculum is good enough. We have mid sems and end sems. End sems is of 20 marks and end sems are of 60 marks. Our colleges provide 9 BTech courses and various MTech courses as well. We have 8 sems.

The placement and job opportunities here in our college are excellent. Our college also stood 2nd in the NIRF rankings among NIT'S placements. Our college also provides internship opportunities as well. The stipend varies from 1.6 lac per month to 25000 per month.

We have various events in our college. We have one technical fest known as AVISHKAR. Also, there is one cultural fest known as CULRAV. Apart from these, we have GNOTALKS where inspirational personalities share their success journey.

The fee structure is feasible. For students whose family income is above 8 lac per year, the fee is 70000 per semester. For whose family income is less than 1 lac the fee is very meager that is 8000 per semester.

I know about one scholarship that I was given. It is known as a Merit scholarship. It is awarded to the top 10% of students in the college. The scholarship amount at my time was 3000 but now they have increased to 15000 but limited to the top 5 students per branch.

I would say the extracurricular here is not that good. The infrastructure is old and under renovation. Same with the case of labs. Lab equipment are very old. They have not been changed for ages.

Yes, I have opted for a hostel. I will rate the hostel as average to give you the best 4 years of life. For first years there is a separate hostel known as SVBH. It is the newly constructed hostel with the best facilities. For other years there is a different hostel.

Yes, the alumni network is very good here. Alumni are ready to help the students in every possible way. They provide funds for various college activities. They also help students in guiding their careers.

Gave IIT JEE MAINS. Then appeared for Jossa Counseling. Then we have to fill the available choices of colleges in the Jossa portal. The choices should be in your preference order. Then various rounds of Counseling occur and you are allotted colleges.

The faculty is good. They have quite good knowledge about the subject. But the way of their teaching is not that good. The main point is that the faculty are here to guide you but the hard work is in one's hands.
