It is one of the most prestigious institutes of the country with almost all the facilities an institute can offer. One can enjoy their institute life to the best here with ample academic as well as developmental oppurtunities.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite common across branches for the first year. Later on, branch-related courses are offered. There are two- four month long semesters in a year with mid-semester exams in the middle of the semester and end-semester examinations at the end of the semester. There are quizzes conducted in the ongoing semester based on the instructor's choice.
Placement Experience
The institute provides internships at the end of the third year. Companies come to the institute for internship hiring throughout the third academic year of the students. Placements happen during December each year. The institute gets over and about 70% of the students placed each year.
College Events
There are three festivals of the institute- cultural, Antaragni ; technical, Techkriti ; sports, Udghosh. All are celwbrated on a 3-4 days span with full enthusiasm. Apart from this, several festivals are celebrated by the students and programs are arranged thriughout the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure depends on the economic condition of the students' family. It is lower than most of the private institutes. And comparable with most government institutes. Apart from the academic fee, hostel charges are also applicable.
Fees and Financial Aid
For availing scholarships there is a limit to family income and CGPA criteria is also applied. Out institute offers many scholarships including MCM. The students can fill forms and submit it to the institute for proceeding further with a scholarship
Campus Life
There are a wide range of activities with clubs in technical, cultural and sports. Students get a huge amount of experience working in these clubs and even student bodies for festivals and other events.
Hostel Facilities
The semester fee contains a part of the hostel fee. The hostel infrastructure is well maintained with a proper mess in every hostel. The hostels contain ample open space and parking area. The electricity supply is good.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is quite strong. They keep visiting the campus for talks and interaction. Alumnis are wlecoming to queries and concern regarding anything you want help with. The alumni job/research profiles are varied with again helps a lot.
Admission
I got admission through JEE Advanced Examination- 2017. JoSAA conducted the counselling online. First the choices were filled by the students, and then seven rounds of seat allotment were conducted, all online. After the final seat allotment is done, we need to report to the institute on a prescribed day.
Faculty
All the faculty at our institute are reputed researchers and highly experienced professors. They take up different courses and impart the best of their knowledge in every course. Professors also take up students to work on their projects.
