About college environment

Our college is like an average one, not Soo good, not Soo bad, it has to improve in terms of communication between lecturers and students, need to modernize the college environment, should conduct intercollegiate competitions, technology-related competitions, have to bring dream companies for recruitment.

Though the course curriculum is too long, we will get the opportunity to learn more about technology. In 4 years, of course, we will be having 8 main semesters, 3 internal exams for each semester, for each semester will be having 6 theory subjects and 2 laboratory subjects

Placement opportunities are not too good, but not too bad, Dream companies like Amazon, IBM, CISCO, GOOGLE, will not come, but mass recruiting companies like TCS, NTT Data, Mindtree, etc will come for recruitment. Yes, the college will provide an internship, I got selected in a company called joules to watts, hence it was not a good one, I didn't join, the average stipend is around 2.5lakh to 3 lakh. Fresher's day, where they welcome newly admitted students, Graduation day, for graduates, Ganesha festival event, this is the main event in our college. Department-wise fests, where they conduct sports, cultural events, quizzes, etc.

The college fee structure is feasible, as this college is located in a rural area, it is around 100 km from Bangalore, as of now the CET fees is around 60000 and for management, fees are around 1 lakh or 1.2 lakh for all branches

Yes, if you apply for a government scholarship, you will get around 18k per year, the loan is provided by banks if you apply based on your income certificate, if your income is below 1 lakh per year you will get a scholarship of 16k + 3k from the government.

Not much encouragement for extracurricular activities like sports,quiz,tech savvy students, one of the main reasons for this is college is loacted in rural area and physical education teacher is not good, however you can participate in University sports Meet, but labs are good in almost all branches

Yes, I had opted for a hostel, the hostel is not Soo well furnished, but it is manageable, food is ok, fees is around 50k per year including food and accommodation, 3 people per room, separate dining hall, no attached bathroom, common washroom and bathrooms for each floor.

No, not at all, after you finish the course, that's in aluminum network nothing, they are struggling for a job, how they will help us? But very few are there to guide us. College should improve on this

I got admission in college through Karnataka CET entrance exam after +2, after+2 we wrote KCET exam for technical and non-technical courses, after results announced, through option entry, I selected this college and joined BE in computer science

They are friendly, few of them are experienced, but none of them are tech-savvy, except very few, so it is impossible for you to discuss technology and stuffs like that with them. but some of them are experienced, so you can gain some knowledge if you are friends with them.
