College Details

This College is best in the field of Handloom and Textile Technology. Students got more knowledge in both theory and practical. Also the fee is very less as compared to any engineering courses. One can well placed after completing degree.

This course is one and only degree course by Central Govt. in the field of Handloom and Textile Technology. And the exam is semester based, for regular students 8 semesters and for lateral entries 6 semesters.

College arrenge placements so there is maximum chance to get well placed. But college doesn't provides any internship, if any student is interested then the student can do internship in any course related fields. College doesn't arrange any stipend based internship.

This is Central Govt. College, so all national events like Independence Day, Republic Day, Handloom Day etc are celebrated here. Among these College conducted one Sypossium programme also which is National Level Technical Sympossium. Also annual day, Sports Day, Hostel day, Batch Day are celebrated by the college.

Here the fee structure is not very expensive. Because it is a Central Govt. college so the college fee is less. College take fee in yearwise. And the hostel mess fee is extra that the student have to pay monthly based.

College doesn't give any scholarship. So students can apply their own state scholarships, for that college gives bonafide. If any student want to suction a loan then college give all the required documents with bonafide certificate.

College having well facilated labs with all instruments. For sports there are all sports equipments for both boys and girls with having their required playgrounds like cricket, volleyball, badminton, basketball etc. Also gym is here in hostel for workout.

Here there are hostel facilities for both boys and girls inside the campus. Previously diploma cource is going on, so both diploma and degree students are having the hostel facility. Because degree course is newly opened so that there is no new separate hostel, in the old hostel students are stayed. Hostels are having all facilities.

Till there is no alumni for degree students because it is new, but within some years it will make. Seniors are very good and now all are well placed those who are doing job and some are going for higher studies. They are helpful and they help the juniors.

After completing my Diploma in Handloom and Textile Technology I applied here for lateral entry. Through merit list I got selected and did my admission as a lateral entry student in B.Tech. And for regular students as per their jee main ranks, selection is carried out.

This college for degree course is new, so there is lack of permanent faculties currently. But the contractual faculties are also experienced holders and teached very well. They are having good practical knowledge also so there is no any problem during practials.
