Remarks
college is good, career opportunities they provide are good, placements, faculties are also satisfactory the only thing I didn't liked about GLA is its dress code for the students and infrastructure. apart from these two, the college is very good overall.
Course Curriculum Overview
the exam structure is tough. in fact, the entire course curriculum is tough. but somehow I managed to cope up with my studies.curriculum is taught strong in-depth. after completing my post-graduation from gla I got various career options like Working in a Multi-national industry/firm, Research Associate in various R&D organizations, I could set-up my own organization and Pursue teaching profession. currently, I am working in Wipro and later planning to do p.hd from GLA itself.
Placement Experience
GLA is quite famous for its engineering courses, the university is holding a record of maintaining its placements. particularly for computer science in the past few years, the university has held a record of 92% placement where 103 companies visited the campus. the average salary offered to cs students is 4.59 and the highest package went to 22 lakh p.a.
College Events
there are a lot of events celebrate throughout the year. usually, masters students remain busy studies, projects, and exams so we did not get time to engage much in events during my time but I have seen other students taking part in different activities and enjoying at college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
my first-year fee was 1,53,000/- and second year was 1,56,000/- p.a. the canteen and mess food is not much expensive, and the dhaba's and resturants near by are also fine. the college does not have very facinating life so the expenses are also not much.
Fees and Financial Aid
no, i never availd any schloarship. but students apply for schloarships, there are various options for the same. the university gives schloarship to students as well as government schloarship are also there.
Campus Life
the infrastructure including conference room, Departmental library, Lab and classrooms having LCD and AC and advance research labs for MTech Students, one computer system per student. sports facilities and gym need to be more advanced. infrastructure is very widespread in 110 acres but the university should be more colorful and should come up with something that rejuvenates.
Alumni/Alumna
I never interact with any alumni, but yes I have attended a lot of guest lectures. and thy are helpful.
Admission
after completing my graduation I wanted to go to some decent college for completing my post-graduation, so I opt for GLA and it was actually the best decision.admission process is very easy, and the admissions start from January to mid-July every year. admission criteria for post-graduation are at least 50% marks in graduation.
Faculty
faculties are supportive. I won't say all the faculties, some of them are extremely orthodox but others are very nice, frank and open-minded. during my 2 years, I was treated nicely by the faculties. they support you to motivate you for placements and to become a better person in the future.
