Money is necessary but Agriculture is necessity

The one of the negative remark is ceasing of placements.Other is that the admission fee will be increased.But positive is that the professors are very helpful and give the detail notes.And also our broken university gate is not reconstructed.

The course is for 4 year.Each year contains two semesters.Every semester has at least 10 subjects out of 16 departments.To pass in a semester at least 7 subjects will be passed.Duration of a semester is 6 month.The class is from 7 am to 5 pm.

Job opportunities are mainly as in Bank Manager,job in insecticides anf fertilizer company,job in KVK,ADA etc.Some years ago placements was on good position but now a days it is deteriorated in our university.

Firstly there is Nabarun.It is Freshers program for new coming students and they are participated.Then there is Annual Sports Day.Then there is a Social Program named as Naihrit.Many artists are invited and they performed.Then Saraswati Puja is happened in our university and also in every hostel.

Fee structure is feasible.Every semester is taken 1500 to 2000 rupees per semester for BSc courses.It is very lesser than other private colleges.But the admission fee will be increased from 6k to 16k to get entry in BSc in Ag.

There is no scholarship or loan facility offerd by our university.But the government give many scholarship to the under privilege students.The money is very helpful for them to continue their study.But our university will start scholarship for the students.

The extracurricular activities are Arts and Drawing, Singing , Dancing, Recitation etc.Many program will be held.The sports activities are table tennis, volleyball, cricket, football,long jump,high jump etc.The labs are too good but old for practical.But many new labs are constructed.

The network between senior and junior is very good.The seniors are very helpful.They give notes and previous year questions papers to the juniors.They come to junior's room and teach the hard things.They take short exams for the juniors.

The admission process is through merit list depending on 12th marks.My name was on 35.I was called for counselling.I went on that day.My name was announced and I take BSc in Agriculture.Then I went to admission section and gave 12th marksheet, residential certificate, thalassemia report, admission fee etc and finally I enlisted my name in admission list.

The name of my faculty is Agriculture faculty.It has 16 departments.Dean is in the head of the faculty.Every department has their own HOD and many professors.Some named departments are Agronomy, Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science, Agricultural Entomology, Plant Pathology ,Genetics and Plant Breeding ,Agricultural Biotechnology etc.
