The positive are:- 1. The faculties are very good and friendly 2. The proper labs and machines are there. 3. A very good placement opportunity provided. The negatives are:- 1. The fees structure are very expensive it need to be less and affordable.
Course Curriculum Overview
There is a total of 6 course in our department which is fashion design, fashion communication, textile design, accessories designing, leather design, knitwear design which all comes under a course of bachelor of design.
Placement Experience
Yes, our college provides internship and we have a whole 1 sem devoted to the internship for our graduation project. The placement and job opportunities of our college is very good. All good companies come to our college for recruiting the students.
College Events
Independent day, Freshers day, Cultural night, Teacher's day, Spectrum, Converge, Halloweens day, Holi, Saraswati puja, Republic day, farewell party, fashion show, sports event All these event are celebrated in our college in a very fabulous manner.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of our college is expensive for everyone i think. It should be less if possible becos my student don't even to come and take admission in nift bcos of its fees structure. Appox total 12 lakh take to come a graduate from nift.
Fees and Financial Aid
The nift itself provide its own scholarship program. But it does not provide any loan facilities. The scholarship provided by nift is very good and some students actually get benefit by this program.
Campus Life
There are so many labs are there in our college because every department needs its own type of labs because there is alot of practical work in the departments. Sports room is also there. A big library is also there in our college. The labs like patter making lab, garment construction lab, jewelry lab, casting lab, visual merchandising lab, and many others.
Hostel Facilities
I opted the hostel in 1st year but i left in second year because the facility is not upto the mark. The food quality is soo much low and their is alot of rules and regulations in the hostel. But i can say that the staff members are good and very friendly. And infrastructure is not very good.
Alumni/Alumna
Their is so many alumni teach in our college as a guest faculties and they help alot as link between students and the actual industry. Senior are also very helpful towards their junior they a anytime ready to help and guide the juniors.
Admission
There are a few steps of admission in nift. Nift conduct all India exam because it is a government college and it has center all across India. The 1st step is filling the form then the cat and gat exam on the same day after clearing them I finally move on to 3rd exam which is the situation test, then clearly all exams we get ranks according to our mark in all three exams. Then the final step is counseling in which we get center and department according to availability of seat and as per our rank.
Faculty
The college faculty is very good according to me they all the very friendly to us.i think they are the coolest faculty from all the colleges in india. Some faculties are permanent and some are the guest faculties.
