Remarks
BMSCE has very less campus area compared to the other colleges. Randomly built buildings are seen all over the campus. BMSCE has students friendly atmosphere in campus. Spacious library with very good books.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is wisely chosen and is good. 3 internals exam. Quiz/seminar Lab test Semester end examination. Internals will be conducted out of 40 and is reduced to 10. 2 out of best in internal is considered. Quiz is out of 5.( Now total became 25). Lab test is for 25 marks( total:50). SEE will be conducted out of 100 and is reduced to 50. Total:100
Placement Experience
It has good record of placement for CSE and IS department, and the placements are decent for other branches. The plus point is that more than 300 companies visit college for campus placement. More than 50% of the students will be directly placed. Yes,our college provides internship in various sector. It was a very good and learning experience. Monthly stipend salary is Rs 4000
College Events
Our college celebrates technical fest called phase shift. It will be organized in the month of September. Many stalls will be put displaying various projects from different department. Industrial stalls also will be put. Our college also celebrates coltural fest called as Utsav. Which is very famous in Bangalore. It will be for 3 days.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Compared to other colleges and universities the fees structure is feasible in BMSCE. Especially for KCET students. As it is government aided college the fees is less and affordable. Even tuition fees are affordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
Many scholarship are provided by bmsce. For category students many options are available. Rs 10000 is provided for the topper in department. And epass scholarship is also available for other students.
Campus Life
BMSCE has many students clubs which is very active in various sector. BMSCE has separate indoor stadium with art of the state infrastructure. Many cultural and various events will be conducted on the yearly basis.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel fees is somewhat very high in BMS college of engineering. But the facilities provided are very good in hostel. Food is also good in hostels. Canteen and cafeteria are available for students.hostel infrastructure is also very good.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumini network is very good in college. On December every year the college conducts alumini meeting. Alumini association has provided many facilities to the college. Senior students are also very good supportive to the Juniors. There is a good relationship between seniors and Juniors.
Admission
I wrote KCET exam and got 6k rank. I choose many college along with BMSCE in option choice. In mock allotment I got NIE but I got BMSCE when results of real allotment came out. After I confirmed my seat in first round only. Then I had to pay Rs 19050 to get allotment order. After on particular date I went to college and took admission by paying Rs 22000 as tuition fee.
Faculty
Faculty is good and are well experienced. Most of faculty members completed their PhD from elite institute like nit and iit. The teaching quality is amazing. Faculty to student ratio is 1:60. The college promotes research and has well equipped labs.
