Remarks
Infrastructure in not good.conditions of hostels is very poor. Though new hostels are under construction.Hostels are very old and need improvement but college rarely ponders over it and also the mess food is not good.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is nice. I am currently enrolled in bachelor of technology in production and industrial engineering branch and it is under the mechanical department, it covers many things theory practicals tutorial and a lot of interesting things. Our college two exams in each semester one mid semester examination and one end semester examination.So i a year there is all over 4 exams and percentage of mid sem is 20% and rest end sem.
Placement Experience
Placements here are quite good.You can refer to college website for particular statistics of the placement.Talking about this year in my production and industrial engineering branch the placement stats was 100% ie all applied students got placed irrespective of the amount of package.
College Events
In a year our college mainly covers two part one the technical part and the other cultural part. Name of our college's technical fest is Avishkar and the name of cultural fest is Culrav.Also there are many events conducted by official clubs which are also quite interesting.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since my college is a government college according to me the fee structure in my year was feasible though the fee structure has hiked this year. In my year it was approx 70000/-(tuition fee) and 15000/- (mess and hostel fee).But this year it increased to 1 lakh tution fee and same mess fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college give about 4000/- to each top 10 rank holders of jee main in the college.After it i have no knowledge about this as i have not availed or applied for any scholarships but my friend have availed for there particular state scholarships and all.
Campus Life
Labs here are good ie it covers a vast area like different chapters have a different labs for some specific topics but some instruments in the lab are too old and need some modification else the labs are quite good and nice.According to me Labs are my favorite and i like to spend more time in labs than in lecture classes.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I am a hosteller and seriously i want to say that the hostel conditions here are very poor ie the hostels are very old and need construction immediately.Else new hostels are made and i think they are getting over to improve it.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students here are quiet helpful.seniors have formed many clubs and committees which solely focuses on extra curricular activities.like we have a SAE club for our branch.Rotaract club for social activities and a lot more. Alumni helps us in funding of these clubs
Admission
Through jee mains examination if u are qualified for jee advanced then go for iit and if cracked through jee mains go for nit/iiit so i done the admission through jee mains by securing a particular rank and got admission.
Faculty
Faculties are mixed like some are permanent or some are visiting faculty.Faculties(some) teach nicely and subject is having a lecture class and a associated tutorial classes for solving the numericals. Both lectures are covered by the concerned proffesor's.
