Remarks

Positive point-A good academics with a good extracurricular. Overall personality development helping become a perfect doctor. Negative point -the food facilities provided by college canteens is extremely poor.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This is a 5.5 year course which involves 4.5 years of academics and 1 yr of internship. There are terminal and prelim exams held every year and these exams decide ur eligibility for University exam held by M. U. H. S.

Placement Experience

4.5

MBBS does'nt has any placements,it's the decision of a particular student to where he wants to practice after his internship or whether he wants to have his own clinic. Our college provides 1 year internship program in one of the 4 hospitals associated with it. The stipend provided during this internship program is nearly about Rs.10,000.

College Events

5

There are 5 events celebrated in our college 1.DAMA freshers-This event is known to expose hidden talents in the students. 2.Dandia Pyrexia-It involves grp and couple dances. 3.Fresher's party -Mr. and Miss freshers title are awarded to the deserving candidates 4.Astitva-Antarang -The biggest college fest consists of a lot of activities and also awards the titles namely Mr. and Miss Astitva. 5.Kurukshetra-Sports events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our fee structure is absolutely feasible since it's a govt college and the fees vary according to the category of the student. There is EBC for open category. Also, there is a hostel scholarship for VJNT students.

Fees and Financial Aid

EBC scholarship for Open category students OBC scholarship NT scholarship SC scholarship SEBC scholarship ST scholarship VJ scolarship And hostel scholarship for VJNT students The fees are very affordable.

Campus Life

4.5

There's a lot of extracurricular in our college indeed more than academics ??. But it is necessary for having an overall development. There is an event known Kurukshetra in which there are a lot of indoor and outdoor sports to play. This event lasts for about a week. The most enjoyed sport in this event is Kabbadi.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The infrastructure of our college is pretty good. We have quite old infrastructure made full of stones. This is because our college has been established in 1856,one of the earliest Medical schools in India. Our hostel is absolutely affordable again being government. There is one Girls hostel and 2 boys hostel in our campus for the MBBS students. Girls hostel- 1.Apna girls hostel Boys hostel- 1.Apna boys hostel 2.R. M. Bhatt hostel

Alumni/Alumna

Yes definitely, the senior students of our college r extremely helpful. They not only help us in academics but also help us achieve the titles such as Mr. and Miss Fresher and also Mr. and Miss Astitva. I was Mr. Astitva 2k19 and I know it was'nt possible without my seniors and batchmates.

Admission

First of all, we have to qualify the neet entrance exam. After qualifying there's a state merit list. There are 2 quotas for admission, one is 85% state quota and the other is 15% All India Quota. Then there is form filling and application for the rounds been held. Finally we are given college acc. to our rank, category and region. The regional quota for state merit list is 70%.

Faculty

3.5

There are 3 types of faculties in our college. Assistant professor Associate professor and HOD(head of department) Amongst these Assistant Professors are quite inexperienced since newly allowed however the Associate professors and HOD's are really good with their work.
