Remarks
Here I have a positive remarks in this college. All day we went college and we got a very good friend circle. It's my best part of my life. College tour is the remarkable thing for my life. At the end of the college life I got a remarkable Medal for 1st class in B.Sc in Physics (Honours).
Course Curriculum Overview
It's a very good exam system. In this college exam pattern was in Semester system. You have to attend total six semester for this B.Sc course. Honours and General both courses are available here. Per semester you have to attend internal exams and end semester exam.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In this college fees are too high. It's not expected at the time of admission. I have to pay about 2370/- and exam fee 800/- per semester. If there is practical based paper the exam fees are higher than 800/-. For total six semester I had to pay total 15400 rs. We were against the fees structure but no solution was found. Many meeting was arranged but was no solution.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship facilities was present but it was not for all students. It was only for Physically challaned students and for those who were very good in study and below the poverty line. Economically Weaker students did not get any scholarships or loan. I also don't get any scholarship from college.
Hostel Facilities
I had not chosen Hostel. But hostel infrastructure and facilities are very good. My friends were there and gave me a good feedback of this college hostel. Hostel charge was moderate and not so much high.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is not so active. But senior students are very good and helpful. All senior students are not invited at the time of Alumini. It's a bad thing of alumini network. All senior students are respected and helpful but our Alumini network is not good.
Admission
At first I filled up online form of UG course in Physics in Midnapore College official website. Then after some days, a merit list was published in Midnapore College official website. My ranking was about 110 in the Merit list then I had attended the counciling programme and i was selected for B.Sc in Physics in Midnapore College.
Faculty
In Midnapore College very good faculty is available. Professors are very good in experience. They are very helpful and cooperative. They also help poor students specially by giving some money for exam fees.
