The college is really nice with a good campus of 110 acres located far from the City in the clean City. The campus environment is really very nice and there is a well-mentained library and reference section and all labs are well equipped the negative part is girl students of 1st and 3rd year have hostel far from college.

The course curriculum is framed by the college itself as it is a deemed University, so the curriculum is framed trying to match industrial needs. The curriculum is a bit student-friendly as the syllabus load is lightened compared to VTU colleges. And it has the number 1 campus placement in Karnataka.

It is one of the finest colleges in Karnataka, it ranks first in terms of a number of graduates offered jobs, placement is assured for the core engineering branches, mostly 85-90% of such branches get placed. Some companies do visit to offer paid internships to students studying in the 3rd and 4th years.

There will be fests conducted by each department every year along with other cultural and technical activities. Along with the national and state events being celebrated some events like Jayaciana the biggest college fest in mysuru.

Fees structure is feasible, if you get a seat through KCET and it becomes a bit costly if you join through comedk, college fee is about 50,000 including tuition and development fees, there is also scholarship facility awarded from Karnataka state government and also alumni association.

There is a scholarship facility provided by govt of Karnataka for poor backward class students. And also alumni association of this college provide every year scholarship to talented needy students like toppers.

Along with technical activities, there are also extracurricular activities held which are mainly held in even semesters while main college fest is approaching such as, inter-branch sports tournaments, games competition conducted by students, and there will also be class representatives elected through enchanting selection procedure. And labs are well equipped.

Yes, I have opted college hostel, the main thing is the hostel is within the college campus and for girls of 1st and 2nd year it is out of campus but there is a bus facility for their traveling. Hostel rooms are good and conditioned and some blocks are new. Facilities- Hot water WiFi.

The Alumni network is very strong and the main thing is the alumni of this college gets identified as jayaciate and they all live as a family, many of them occupy well-accomplished positions in the society in fact Akhilesh Yadhav of UP is an alumnus of this college and there are many apart from the technical field such as film industry and there are many who have settled abroad also.

I got here admission through my engineering rank in KCET, which is conducted every year for entry into UG courses in Karnataka state. For KCET they consider 50% PU board marks and 50% of your CET exam score. After the CET results, you have to attend kea counseling and opt for your dream college in Karnataka.

College faculty is good, some of them are qualified professors from IISC Bangalore, and they have a very good experience, but in recent years some of those senior teachers are going to retire and they are going to be replaced by young teachers.
