Positive, It is a excellent college in west bengal. Very very good. Very disciplined. Everyone in the college very helpful. The faculty is also very good in every department if you are looking for a very good scince college in west bengal it is the best choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is slightly hard but it's so much useful for future. Exam structure is excellent. It is a three year course.it has six semesters.in 1st sem 2 papers.1 written and one practical in 2 nd to 5th same its of 3 papers 2 written and one practical.
Placement Experience
No college don't provide internship. There is no such opportunities because it's commoletely based on Bsc and BA courses.so no internship. But so many chance. U can do msc in this college after graduation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is not so expensive.But after the the change of syllabus in graduation the cgpa batch course fee is more than ours.We have to pay 2000 per sem and 700 before every final sem exam.But the cgpa batch fee is between 4000- 6000 and 700-1200 before exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
College don't give any scholarship.But the students in science department are intelligent.Maximum of them get the inspire scholarship which provide you 60000 per year from graduation to PHd.otherwise there is meritcum scholarship for arts and science both it offers 18000 per year in graduation.
Campus Life
The college students also good at that they performs in every occasion.The college fest is very popular and exciting occasion.There is varois type of sports held.There is a interdepartmental cricket program and basketball and football happened.
Alumni/Alumna
The network is good.They come in reunion.But I don't think it's helpful.Maximum of students are busy in personal life.Few of them come.There is no such politics or seniors ragging.It is a completely peaceful campus.
Admission
I got 95 in physics. In total 450 in Hs. In merit list the college count the 10% of my total marks plus the total marks out of 100 in the subject in graduation.My total merit point was 140 out of 150. I got the 70 rank in the merit list. I got the chance in counseling of general category.
Faculty
Faculty is so good. There is two part of physics department one is the morning from 7 am to 1pm (it may vary). And day section from 10 am to 4 pm (it may vary). There are 6 professors in every section excluding 4 lab assistant.
