Course and college review

Many activities are organised but they are done by students less no of activities are done by college only. Faculties don't care about this activities and students achievements in outside participation except in technical.

My college comes under RTU ie Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. The exam patten for my batch ie batch 2016 is not changed it is same as the previous batches. But from 2017 batch the course curriculum has changed the exam patten is also changed. Our exam is of 80 marks rtu exams and 20 marks for internal exam, in rtu exams 16 marks question will come from each chapter all 5 chapers. But for our juniors the exam is of 180 marks and 20 marks internal any question from any chapter can come in it.

In 4th year, the placement companies comes in our college. Our college really focus on placement companies. And some of the best companies in market comes in our college. The general placement process is aptitude test, group discussion, personal interview then HR interview.

Many technical fest and cultural fest are celebrated in our college and they are inter college fests. Aadhar(technical fest). Aarohan(technical and cultural and sports fest). Manthan (debate compitition). Wise activities for girls only. Fashioninsta etc.

The fee is according to RTU in rajasthan technical university norms. It is feasible according to students doing btech. 77000 per year college fee. For one year and two semesters. And our btech course is of 4 years.

There is no exact scolership offered by our college but some government scholarship are informed by our college and we fill the form. Mostly the scholarships are for ST/ SC and for girls candidates with annual income of parents less then 5 to 8 lacs.

A large number of extracurricular activities are organised in college and hostel. Many sports activities and competition are organised. Our college team also participates in many inter college competitions outside our college same is for cultural team and technical teams. Labs are provided dance room and sports courts are provided by the college.

Hostel, it's fee is 120000 for action rooms, 86000 for ducting room and 76000 for non ducting room. Many hostel fest are organized. Sports facility mess facility many activities are done. Mentorship program is also available for juniors.

Yes, the poornima alumni association ie PAA has regular contact with the senior students and the alumni meets are organised by them. In the events we got to know a lot about there experiences and what is the current requirements of the industries.

I had appeared in Jee mains Exam, the marks I scored in the exams along with my 12th class percentage was given in REAP counselling. The merit list was prepared and I got Government Girls Engineering College Ajmer, then I requested of upgradation and in 2nd counselling I was allotted Poornima College of Engineering, Electrical Engineering beach.

The faculties are good and well knowledgeable but they don't share their knowledge except the course. They teach only for completing the course and don't want to make or teach the students ready for the future. Practical knowledge is very less.
