College Events
On-campus events play an important role in shaping the social and intellectual fabric of your university’s campus. But if you want to draw a crowd, you’ll need to look beyond the standard fare. Lectures, study groups, and job fairs all have their place, but college students, especially freshman, are looking for new and authentic ways to connect.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Studying in India will cost approximately INR 350,000 ($5,000) per academic year. Student accommodation in India is affordable. Some universities provide on-campus housing to international students. If the cost of engineering education in India in some premier institute cost today 10 Lakh. The education cost in India after 15 years would be 40 to 50 Lakh. If medical education cost today Rs 25 lakh in private college – you can safely assume you have to build a 1 crore corpus in 15 years.
Fees and Financial Aid
Thinking about college is an exciting time in your life, whether you are a high school senior or a non-traditional student contemplating your choices. For many, the cost of tuition can seem like an obstacle, but it does not have to be. If you are not a stellar student, that’s okay, there are so many college scholarships available for people of all lifestyles.
Campus Life
Some students worry that participating in extracurriculars may take away too much time from their schoolwork, thus hurting their grades; however, extracurricular activities can actually improve your grades and your outlook on a school in general. Participating in activities you are passionate about can increase your brain function, help you concentrate and manage your time better, all of which contribute to higher grades. High endurance sports, for example, will train you to focus and build stamina in the face of intense difficulty.
Hostel Facilities
One of the key contributors to an intensive learning experience is living on campus. A well-furnished and aesthetically designed hostel with separate wings for boys and girls has been constructed to provide the best possible facilities to the students. Hostel is located on the same campus and is about 500 hundred meters from the institute building. The campus is under the surveillance of a CCTV camera and provides a safe environment for girl candidates.
Alumni/Alumna
Creating an engaged, supportive alumni network is crucial to an institution’s success. If communication stops once graduates leave an institution, their understanding of the university will become stale. Instead, they should be kept informed so they can remain engaged and keep abreast of the progress of the university. Good alumni relationships bring many benefits to both the institution and the alumni. Here we speak to HE professionals who work in Alumni Relations about the benefits of maintaining an engaged alumni network and how the market is changing.
Admission
The college interview process can be nerve-racking. This interview gives the college you're applying to another opportunity to evaluate you and help determine whether or not to offer you admission. However, your college interviews won't be nearly as scary if you know what to expect.
Faculty
The best thing about Wabash is the sense of community created by the campus. Students, faculty, staff, and alums all share a common thread that enhances a feeling of belonging for people who want to be a part, despite a wide array of differences among Wabash's constituents. Men intermingle regardless of fraternal allegiance, or lack thereof, race, belief, or hometown. That being said, I would change the growing student preference for groups that seem to encourage forming and sticking to one group as opposed to belonging to multiple social organizations.
