Good College for Regular MBA Course

My college is good in study and knowledge for MBA but the placement facilities should be improved more so that they can place each student whether they are average or talented. Their exam structure and course structure is also appreciable.

The course curriculum was good in terms of modules and faculties. It was standard as we matched with other colleges as well. The exam structure was divided into 4 semesters for 2yrs MNA courses and each semester's exam had scheduled by WBUT. The exam was held in our college itself with internal and external investigators. It took 7-10 days to complete all subjects’ exams.

Placement is not so good for average students. They brought good companies but I didn’t get any job from placements. They provided an internship in a company without or low stipend but I did my internship through my friend’s referral.

Annual year meet, Half yearly cultural program, other training events happened during my course. Annual year event was really good where we met old students they invited and enhanced my network. They conducted several training programs for us related to subject which was also very engaging.

It is somehow expensive for me as I belong to a middle-class family. But compared to other colleges like IIM or other B schools in Kolkata, their fee is similar so I can’t say it is expensive for all.

They provide scholarships for poor students belonging to middle-class families. But you have to appear one test to qualify for this scholarship and then your course fee will be waived off by a certain amount.

Computer labs and cricket tournaments were good which were conducted every year. All computer labs are well equipped with modern software and good faculties. The cricket tournament is conducted with a cup prize.

No, I didn’t take their hostels as I stayed at my relative’s house. I heard about their hostel infrastructure from my friends, it was good actually. They provide all modern facilities like AC, Fridge, Bed and good food quality.

We haven’t discussed much with senior students in the Alumni because everyone was so busy. I could remember that I discussed with 2 seniors for 5 mins and they were ready to help me with their suggestions and subject notes.

I passed JEE exam and was then given the Viva and GD test at Future Institute of Engineering and Management college for admission. In 2010, I completed all the steps and took an education loan for a one-time course fee of 3,60,000 at a 20% discount on 4,50,000.

Good faculties in terms of subject knowledge, communications and guidance. They always help students with their guidance and suggestions. Some faculties were doctors in this college. Faculties also help with job interviews.
