My college is the best among all

No, overally my college is average college. Every student are passed with a average degree which is provided by utkal university. My college is best college for pursuing a basic degree.

Currently I'm pursuing my graduation in b.sc (geology) honors and this is the course related to the earth science which is beneficial for coastal areas. The exam structure is based on the semester system. The total semester we have is 6. Each year college conducts 2 semester. Each semester consists of mid term examination and end term examination with a practical test.

Our college neither provides any job opportunities nor any internship. Basically our college is fully government operated autonomous body which only provides the foundation courses in all three basic streams.

As usual our college celebrate almost every event including international, national, state events. example Saraswati puja, Ganesh puja, Republic day, Independence day, Gandhi jayant, Netaji jayant, Chhada khai etc.

The fee structure is average. But still not affordable for everyone. There are some students from typical villages who can't afford that much. The admission fee is only once worth 10,000 INR. and after that each year you have to readmit yourself by a net cash 5,000 INR. Except admission fees we also have semester examinations fees which is 3000 per each semester.

Our college didn't offer any scholarship form their side. But we have to search scholarship online to apply on their site. All they need is a verification by our college and that's it. In that way we apply scholarship on our won.

Extracurricular activities like sports, dancing, singing, swimming, blood donations, NCC, and many more activities held each and every year to overexpose the hidden talents from every student. In that way every winner gets a trophy and certificate and much more from our college.

I am a local resident of my city in which our college recides that's the only reason I deny the hostel option. But still I can rate the hostel as some of my friends have choose the hostel facilities. The infrastructure is not very good. I can rate it 3 out of 10.

We never have alumni network because lack of unity. The students pursuing the degree from this college are quite unusual. They never have any unity as the other colleges have but in our batch we are united and planning for alumni after passing out.

First, I fulfill the basic criteria of my college to admit with in. then I got selected through merit rankings based on my academic career results. then I got a message from my college that you are selected for admission on first round. and I went to the college submit my all relevant documents and admitted to the college.

The total number of college staff is 157 and according to the state government rule. There shall be a maximum 10% of guest faculty members in college. But our college refuse that rule and administrate itself by on it's own. I think the total number of guest faculty is 70-80.
