As it is situated in the center of the Kottayam town it is easily accessible to students from far places and talking about the academics, it has nurtured many Rank Holders to M G University.Thus overall it is Good place to build the foundation for one's Career.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum systematic and prepared by experts in the respective fields and thus it is being followed at the college, which includes regular tests and assignments and other add on courses, which helps in the overall development of the students.
Placement Experience
Their is well established placement cell operating in the college.Although I had not opted for placement as I was looking to do PG, I know some of my friends who had got placed in MNCs and nationalized banks.
College Events
The college follows a yearly calendar of conducting various events such as Arts day , college day, founders day ,Onam , and other department Wise celebrations.All of which are mostly conducted in the main auditorium near to the entrance of the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is feasible and most of the students who are selected on merit based only have pay feasible amount stipulated by the Government, with an exception for some self financing courses for which extra amount has to be paid.
Fees and Financial Aid
As of now I am unaware of any loans which can be availed.Although there are many scholarships and grants awarded to students who performs well in the exams and other co curricular activities in and around the college
Campus Life
The college gives a good percent of importance to sports and athelitics , hence it also conducts various inter college event for various sports such as Football, Basketball, Hockey , etc. And the College football team has many former players ,who now represent various renowned clubs in and around India.
Alumni/Alumna
Every Year an Alumni event is conducted in the month of October.In which former students from various batches comes together to revisit there college life once again and to met their friends and teachers.
Admission
The Admission process was based on UG Cap system in which their was multiple allotments in which colleges are allotted to students based on marks and order of preference.Thus I was selected on the basis of allotment process
Faculty
The faculty consists of well knowledgeable teachers of various streams and departments.A good and systematic form of teaching is being followed at the college, which involves regular tests and assignments.
