Positive 1.World class facilities with high exposure. 2. Some highly trained faculties. Negative 1.Still treating students as school going kids. 2. Very less holidays 3. No extra time for extra curricular activities

As far as I am concerned, The course is same as any other engineering college. But, in some parts of certain subjects, still it is not developed according to the rapidly increasing present world. For example we are still taught microprocessor 8085 and 8086 which are thing of the past and the curriculum should be based on the possibility of advancing technology.

Apart from being expensive, it is famous for providing 90%(realistic stats) of the students with placement call Letters. Mass recruiters take 50% of the students and the creamy layer is taken by some product based companies for handsome package. The real strugglers are the average students and with little to no chance are the people with backlogs. We are just provided with company names and references. But, we have to try ourselves if we want to apply for good internship.

Since it is a University, Many events occur. Some of them are conducted on local area basis. But, some of them like fest conducted by IEEE Student branch Gitam, called 'NIRVANA' is a nation wide fest. Number of workshops and talk sessions are also held at regular basis. High dignitaries with high stature do visit our college For example: Bill Gates, Pranab Mukherjee, Chandra Babu Naidu etc. have visited our college. Some of them are: 1. GUSAC Carnival 2. KALAKRITHI FEST 3. NIRVANA BY: IEEE STUDENT BRANCH 4. CULTURAL NIGHT

It is expensive. For a normal middle class person to afford such a high prices college is a bit difficult task. People opting for management course have to pay more than engineering. Apart from engineering, there is law, degree, management, international business etc. Every department have different prices

Scholarship of 10,000/- can be availed if the income of the highest bread earner is less than 2.5 lakhs per annum. For engineering graduates For other departments, i am not sure of there is any offer as such.

We have labs for certain departments. Till now i have seen, the labs have been very good with availability of lab equipments for the specified experiments. Faculty members are very strict when it comes to lab. How are we exactly performing the experiment and if it is result oriented or not. We have a world class sports facility, with maximum sports equipments available on temporary basis to use them.

For 1st years, faculties generally tell that, seniors rag you for no reason. But fortunately,I have been on the brighter side as my seniors have been helpful to gain the knowledge of how exactly things work at our college.They duley guided me with full external knowledge which comes only with experience

I followed the procedure mentioned in the college website. After writing the entrance examination, immediately i was able to access my score after which, waiting for few days, a call letter came via email to attend the counselling session in certain specified centers. 1. First login to official website of the college i.e. gitam.edu 2. Check for GAT (Gitam Admission test) in the portal. 3. Fill your details 4. Opt for the nearest test center from your home. 5. Pay the fees through online procedure. 6. Wait for hall ticket

Overall, College faculties are only present to guide us in small areas and very few professors do really think about student overall development because their is one myth about our college that only people with sufficient money and to enjoy, people take admission in our college. Every year, Most of the faculties feel like it will be same every year. Till know, i can tell in fingertips, which teacher really cared for student and has helped him/her to reach his/her potential to achieve the desired goal of success.
