My college

The college is overall really good. The campus is excellent. Very well maintained. The faculty is good qualified and helpful. Other facilities like hostel and mess are also there. Hospital is available as well.

The curriculum is pretty good and challenging. It's a 4.5 years course followed by a one year on internship. The subjects are well distributed over the course duration. During internship. You can either complete it at the affiliated hospital or you can take a transfer.

As it is a medical college. There are no placements as such. And the one year internship is included in the MBBS curriculum and yes the college affiliated hospital provides internship opportunity. There is no stipend during the UG. It starts after pg.

Not many events are celebrated as such. Ganpati festival is celebrated nicely. There is annual gathering every year which is organised by the second year batch students for all the other batches. It includes sports tournaments and cultural activities and competitions too.

The fee for our current batch is 6.3 lacs per year. Medical education is costly but this is still an affordable fee structure as compared to other colleges. For those people for whom this fee is not feasible.govt scholarships are available.

Loan facilities are available at different banks. The college does offer government scholarships for different category students and for the economically backward classes. The student section is very helpful in these cases.

Medical education is full of academics so there are very less extra curricular activities. The ganpati festival and the annual gathering event are the only chances for extra curricular activities. These events include sports and cultural activities.

It's good with all the necessities provided. There are options for hostel like either two students in one room or three students in one room. Washrooms are available on each floor and they are regularly cleaned as well.

The alumni keep visiting the college from time to time to meet the professors and give a speech if possible. Senior students are also of huge help as they help a lot with studies and also in settling in the hostel life.

I appeared for an all India entrance exam called as NEET UG.

The faculty is very good. They are well qualified and helpful. They are punctual too as very rarely do any of the lectures get cancelled. The practicals too are taken time to time with proper guidance.
