Our College is situated at College Street, Kolkata which is very much at the prime and Inter connected location you reach here by Bus, Tram,Metro easily. Our College is very old so the Infrastructure is average. Faculties were very good and helpful. We have a pretty good library, Gym but labs we're not good they were always closed.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum for B.Com students in Calcutta University is good. We have two semesters in our college one of 25 marks and other one of 50 marks,students must pass both the exams for appearing in the finals.
Placement Experience
Our College also provide placements and Job Opportunities for students. Every year we have a career counseling course and we also have job opportunity as different companies came here for the for the placements.
College Events
The Speciality in our college was they use to celebrate each and every festivals whether it is Holi,Diwali or Eid or Christmas and every student use to celebrate every function. There is no caste barrier in our college that one can Celebrate only his religious celebration.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very Much Feasible. As our college was government oriented the fees was very neglibile and it can afforded by each and every student and our college also provides schorlarship for the needy students. Our college used to provide free books for 2 subjects to the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our College also used to provide scholarships for the students. The scholarship to be provided was based on certain conditions. Students must fulfill those requirements in order to avail the schorlarship. Every year there was scholarship and free book distribution program on 14th November.
Campus Life
There we're pretty extracurricular activities held in our college. We have an Annual Sports in the month of December and there we're also Inter and Intra college competition held every year. Our college also participated Blood Donation Camps, Providing clothes to poor. Every year we have a tour program for the betterment of the students.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college used to have a Union which is formed of alumni or senior studnts of our college. They used to teach us, guide us and help us in every aspect. They always used to fulfill our requirements. They also conduct Blood Donation Camps, sports tournaments and all
Admission
Our College provided the Cut off (80) percentage for the students and I have got 85 percentage in my higher secondary examination so I was eligible for the admission and as I am a CA student so I have to manage for my rigorous tuitions and college studies and further college does not have any contradiction or issues related to a CA student that's why I don't have any problem regarding to the college so I went there for the admission and luckily I got selected.
Faculty
Faculties in our College we're pretty good, they were very co-operative and they use to guide us about our future endeavors and all. They also use to tell us different paths or streams after completing our graduations.
