On the rise

The college is one of the fastest growing medical college in India and is the only medical college in the eastern Uttar Pradesh. It has great faculty members. On the downside its a bit far from the city i.e. around 10 kms although it has good connectivity through autos and cabs.

MBBS curriculum is very extensive and the college stands up to it and provides all the required amenities and has proper standards for medical studies. The professors here have vast experience and the college has a good patient flow.

Placement and job opportunities are massive ad India is already in shortage of doctors. Yes, the college will provide internship from the next session that is 2020-21 but the stipend is not cleared until now.

The college celebrates an annual fest ‘Panacea’ which span across 4 days and includes cultural activities like play, singing, dancing, fashion show etc. It also includes sports events which includes football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, kabaddi, tug of war, strong man contest and athletic events. Lots of other co curricular activities are also there. Other than this festivals such as Diwali, Navratri, Saraswati puja and Holi are celebrated annually and of course the freshers’ party is celebrated with great oomph.

The medical field is quite expensive and so is our college. The vast amount of things and standards which are to be maintained leads to making the MBBS course very expensive. Nonetheless it is worth it.

Loan for medical studies is available in many banks included our college bank partner Bank of Baroda which has its branch in our college premises. Few scholarships are also available later on depending on the marks one has scored in the University exams.

Extracurricular activities are there in the college like regular cultural events headed by our cultural committee. Labs are part of our curriculum thus students are involved in this every week. For sports we have football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, shot put, kabaddi and a well equipped gym.

Hostels are compulsory for MBBS students here. The boys hostel is G+8 building with a mess on the ground floor. The rooms are twin sharing with a balcony and attached bathroom. Provided are a bed, study table with chair, a cupboard, notice board and shelves. The bathroom has geyser.

Our college is new with the first batch set to pass out in 2020 thus there is no alumni network at the moment but in a few years there will be one for sure. There are seniors in the form of Junior Residents who guide us in anyway they can.

I gave the UPCMET exams held in the year 2015 and got enrolled in the college according to my marks. After reaching the college I had to undergo through counselling and show proof that I took the UPCMET test and had to pay the admission fees.

All the faculty members are great and some of them have experience of more than 40 years. They are energetic and highly involved with the students. Regular classes are held. There are adequate number of teachers in the college.
