MY Review for Burdwan Raj college

There are no Negative remarks about my college. Burdwan Raj college is one of the best colleges of West Bengal and the best college in Burdwan District. Day by day and present days our college is grown up very well. It's the oldest college in Burdwan and has a Emotions for all of us.

The course of mine is divided in 6 semester in every 6 month, two stages (Theory & practical ) in each subject our exam is conducted. In every semester of all courses a AECC/SEC subject also included , which is compulsory for all courses as well as our courses. The theory exam is conducted in other college affiliated by Burdwan University, and practical exam is conducted on our home college.

As our college is a general college so it doesn't give any internship but it have campussing facility. That's why when any company came to our college campus many deserving candidates who are eligible for work get their chance to show their skills and it also give the students opportunity to do extra curricular activities so the students can do much better in their future. I interviewed for Bajaj capital , in it was my first interview , it helps me for future corporate interview.

Each and ever Bengal festible like saraswati puja, holi are celebrated in our College , apart from that our college organize a freshers party for the welcome of new students ,we also do social every year where we have lot of fun. Other than that our college organize many educational and social awareness seminar in our college for the students. College also organize a educational tour and excretion every year for the students.

The fees structure of our college is very expensive in my case. At the admission it take a amount of 4,000as admission fees and 1st semester fees, after that they take a amount of 2800 as 2nd semester fees, after that they take a amount of 3500as the 2nd year admission and 3rd semester fees,And the also take 500 rupees in every semester for university exam fees.

There are scholarship facilities in the college, only given if those are directed by the government, that is if only those are government schemes. Moreover there are no loan schemes available, as to my acquaintance.

Our college have a big sports ground where the extracurricular activities like football, cricket, volleyball and many other games are performed , but I love so much to play cricket and our college has a very good cricket team. our college also have labs like physics lab, chemistry lab, botany lab, zoology lab, geography lab etc for the students to have a better experience in study.

I have not opted for hostel. By many time I visited in hostel. In our college there are two hostel. As per the time when I visited in hostel I saw very clean & tidy in all rooms. Drinking water, electricity is also available. Canteen facility aslo available.over all Good infrastructure.

Senior students were really helpful when i was freshers they came with me and find my classroom. At a time i had some issue with my first semester 1 exam, before my exam i didn't find my admit card, that time my seniors helped me a lot to find my admit card copy from college office assistants. Thats it

On the basis of 12th pass Board marks , I choose my preferable course which is B.sc. In college website I fill up admission from , after merit list published finally I get my admission in B.sc( General course)

Our college faculty have a number of total 90 members including principle , proffesor, assistant professor, lecturer, guest lecturer, teaching stuff and non teaching staff. All the faculty members are highly educated and have a very helpful manner. The are very friendly to us and help up in every way possible. All the teachers and specialy our principal sit is very polite and and a good behavior and manners. They always encourag us to do the right thing in life no matter what will happen. The College faculty is the best college faculty I have ever seen.
