Placements are nice, that's best thing of our college. The only thing in India atleast is getting the placement. And we get ample of opportunities for jobs and internships. Even Microsoft, Amazon visit our campus
Course Curriculum Overview
It is well distributed but very outdated. Also the theory subjects are more like Internet and Web Technologies, MIS these cover basic topics and lots of theory. However we get lots of time to work on ourselves, I even go to many hackathons (won a few of them). It helps in keeping track of our skill.
Placement Experience
This is best thing I like about our college, it provides ample of jobs and internships. The selection process goes on for year long. However there is one student one placement policy so you can't sit in other companies once you get the placement. I got my internship in an Healthcare group as SDE and got the pre placement offer from same.
College Events
Avartan: TechFest, this is a technical fest of our college, it involves coding contests as well. Eclectika: Cultural fest of our college. This involves ethnic day, Diwali celebration and DJ night. SAMAR: The sports fest of our college, involves badminton, football, chess etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is 1,25,000 per year for general category However it May be relaxed for people with income certificate less than 1 or 5 lakhs accordingly. Also for otther category it is relaxed. However otherwise there is no other compensation for general.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no scholarship provided by our college. But state government provides some scholarship for cg students belonging to sc/St/OBC. Loans are provided and available by private banks. They are a viable option too.
Campus Life
Our college has good extracurricular activities, it involves poetry, dramatic club, gymnastics, sports, music. For poetry we have Rajbhasha samiti(literature club) For dramatic we have Abhinay club. For gymnastics we have gym and other facilities. Our college takes part in almost inter nit contests.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is super helpful. If you ever need any kind of help regarding placement, internship, or doubts regarding company, one can easily message on LinkedIn. They always are very helpful and provide necessary guidance
Admission
We have to give JEE mains and Advance, we get into IITs after Advance and NITs after mains I cleared JEE mains in General category and got seat in NIT Raipur in home state quota of Chattisgarh. At first I got Metallurgy but then I slided from Meta to IT after first year.
Faculty
Faculty is a mixture of very good highly technical, highly theoretical, high on ppt. Some are very chill, they don't care what you do. Some are like make this, make that. All you will be doing is getting the report done just for name sake with them.
