The college does have some rich spoilt brats because of which the college gets this reputation of a drug addicts college. The professors are not as good as the facilites and the management isn't as good as expected

This is a very modern course plan that is updated and at par with international standards. The curriculum includes latest technologies and their applications for the students also having a state-of the art labs and workshops for hands on experience

The college has one of the best placements even it times of the industrial slowdowns. This placement record is at par with the IIT's and NIT's of India and is thus no less from a world class University

The events are: Techtatva: The college s technical festival which is aimed to be a technical event on the national if not international scale but fails to attract as much attention as Revels does. Revels: The colleges cultural fest held in even semester is full of fun activities

It is very expensive with fees ranging from 3 to 4 LPA. It is on the higher side for sure and is one of the major negative aspects of this college. This is why people have a reputation that only rich spoilt people study here.

There is a scholarship for the top 10 rank holders where their entire fees are waived. For the rest there are financial options as usual but no scholarships as such. Parents must have a good amount of money

They are excellent and probably the best in India. Everything is world class and state of the art. All facilities are the best here. No grievances. The mangement could be better though. This is the USP

The hostels have a wide variety right from old dormitory rooms to single attached air-conditioned multi storey buildings. The room allotments depends on your CGPA score and thus encourages students to study for it. Hostel is very expensive but the services are at par with the best Hotels you can think of.

Yes. They are to an extent but not as strong network. But they are very very very helpful when you really really really really really need them. The mit is a family. And we never turn our backs on our family

Getting suitable rank for the same. I had to write their entrance exam. It was an online test with multiple questions. There are multiple rounds for counseling out of which the first is offline and the others online

The faculty is highly localised and comprises mostly (98%) south Indian origin. They are however highly qualified and experienced. Some of them are highly motivated to teach and encourage students to learn but most of them are like most professors all over India who have lost interest
