Being GTU college is better then being an deem university.

It was a very positive experience this four years studying over there. But now as it turned out to an university I'm expecting it to be focusing more on keeping the academic structure strong and helpful that student gets healthy amount of knowledge and can get a nice job at the end of there graduation.

When I was studying there the exams were taken according to GTU's examination system in which we had 2 mid semester exams of 40-40 marks and a final exam of GTU of 70 marks. We also got internal as well as external vivas in each semester which included bunch of assignments and few practical work as well.

According to my point of view our college didn't concentrated much on providing placements. Yes many companies came for the placement but they were not properly our field related companies. Talking about internship most of us found internship on our own, cause from college the opportunity of internship were not provided in good company. Talking about site visits its quite well organized from the college. And stipend is something that we don't expect from the interning company because they even grant the permission for doing internship for a while over there place.

Techfest named as TALAASH which is held every february which includes various events in it technical as well as non technical. Culturalfest named as JUNOON is also held in february at GMDC Convention Hall with various scholastic award ceremonies and entertaining performances. Apart from it sports week, seminars and many other events are held throughout the year which is nice to take part in.

Looking at the current scenario the fee structure is comparatively similar as other private colleges and the payment system is also good like you have to pay fees at the starting of the new semester and they also provide sufficient time to pay the fees. They even provide extra discounts sometimes when we pay the fees of the whole annum in one installment.

Don't know about it much as I didn't applied for any scholarship during my four years of course. But there were TFWS scheme provided by ACPC that if you are eligible to get admission through it you will have to pay the fee according to its terms and conditions.

The extracurricular activities are quiet good, our college has different club included in the campus of various branches which provides a good platform and resources if we willing take part in it and want to learn something apart from academics. Labs are also good over here and sports is something which need some extra spaces which lacks in our college the campus doesn't have good sports area to play various sports but though during sports week they provides place for various sports.

Just completed my graduation few months back so don't know much about the alumni network but while been the part of the college the senior students were very helpful and cooperative. In various events like techfest and culturalfest the seniors were they only to help us get ahead and get prepared for the coming year and taking the responsibilities further.

After 12th results I got the admission booklet of ACPC from Punjab National Bank in which all the procedure and key dates were mentioned following those instructions I got my admission in this college

At our time the faculty panel was so good. Cooperative, Friendly & Spontaneous whenever we asked there help whether to learn something or to get some practical knowledge apart from academics. Now most of the faculty left the college due to some reasons, so can't tell you much about the new ones.
