Remarks
The college infrastructure could be better. Rainy days we have insects, infact so many coming into the classroom. Snakes are regular visitors to our college. The canteen facilities in the college are poor. A better canteen should be provided.
Course Curriculum Overview
We follow Madras university syllabus. Which was outdated earlier and now it is being updated. The exams are conducted in the semester pattern. You have non major and major subjects. The non major papers are corrected within the college and other papers by university.
Placement Experience
Since it is a government college, the placement and opportunities are not that good, though we have TCS and other companies coming for recruitment. My stream is b.com general. So internship is not in our syllabus. Maybe shift 2 accounting and finance and other departments may have internship which is part of their syllabus.
College Events
We celebrate all kinds of events. To list out few- teacher's day, fresher's day, Women's day, muthamizh vizha, pongal celebration, culturals, sports day, etc. All these events are celebrated in a very grand manner. Culturals take place for 4 days. Famous celebrities come to college on those days.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for shift 1 is so much economical.it is just 2000 per year. Shift 1 comes under merit quota and government. We also get scholarship for other institution, so we pay the fees from that money. Year by year the fees reduces. The shift 2 fees is around 20000.
Fees and Financial Aid
The students of SC, ST and BC are eligible for the scholarship. Every year these students get a scholarship amount of 5000-2000 depending on the caste. These scholarship money help the students in paying the fees as well as buying books.
Campus Life
We have digital library, all labs and different sports. The library is mostly not used by the students. The labs are in a very good condition and students use it for practicals. For all the 1st yrs, we have one hr extra classes for these extra curricular activities. We have hand ball, basketball, throwball, football, cricket, etc.
Alumni/Alumna
We have a alumni meet conducted every year. The passed out students of the college come to the collection on that day. The alumnus of the college are at different places in good reputed position. They make the college proud.
Admission
Fill the application form and submit it offline in the college. The merit list will be displayed in a week. And then you get your admission if you are in the Merit list. There is no online application in this college.
Faculty
The facilities of my college are awesome. They are so responsible. Complete the portions on time. They don't hesitate to clear doubts anytime. Well educated teachers never fail to address our problems. We have experienced faculties as well as new facilities who are new to the teaching profession.
