College review

Overall I recommend you to join this college only if you are willing to spend more money on the fees. Faculties are good but facilities like washroom benches classroom and fans lights are not functioning properly and even if they work power problem.

The syllabus is very old and it does not have the ongoing trends of the industry. Exam is conducted very similar to the SSLC and puc. The papers are corrected in a very strict manner and they expect us to write as same as it is in the text book. Even in the results even if the student expects more than a passing marks that is 28 one is prone to fail which is sad but true.

Currently all these activities are going on. But the mass recruiters tied up to the college are really less and we are just getting opportunities from the small companies whose recruitment goals are around say 5-6 which does not much help the students nor does it help the placement cell so that they can show it as a record.

Colosseum-fresher's day where mr. and miss fresher will be selected Melange-inter collegiate fest, Ethnic day. These 3 days are like the festive days of the college. Students enter the fest with more enthu and participate and win prizes which usually are cash prize around 5-8k.

Fee structure is bit expensive compared other colleges near by. Which is around 85,000 per year in that cet fees is around 55,000.college fees is comparatively more around 30,500 for snq quota students. They charge 8000 for blazer which is not worth the money and it is only worn during lab times.

There is a scholarship called karepass for all the students of engineering. I have also applied for this scholarship from past 3 years. It is provided by the government and college does not provide any such scholarship or loan.

We have a cricket ground in our college which is really beautiful. Students are requesting for a football but it is still not provided but there's a muddy ground. Our college is 52 acres but it is not fully utilised.

Hostel is inside the college itself and it is like a building and there is no proper security they usually have monkeys and snakes moving around the place. I would not recommend anyone to join this hostel and the hostel fees is also around 80,000 per year.

Yes, they are helpful if we know them. But we don't know much of our seniors anyways our faculties are helpful so we do not hesitate to ask them anything. And now we are final years and I think we are being helpful for our juniors.

Very orthodox same as in schools if one is from cet or comed-k or management are conducted in a similar fashion. They even ask the questions about the travelling so that one can commute through their bus. Very friendly atmosphere.

All the faculties are aged and experienced but according to me they fail in expressing the things that they want to convey to the student crowd. They are still old school that is they still prefer the same old hand written assignment than the assignment sent on Google forms and PPT presentation.
