Our college have good placement in All branches except Biomedical, Biotechnology branch. It's very old and very facilitated college having good knowledge and experience teacher's and also cultural of our college is very good. Ragging free campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
In B.Tech course there are many branches like mechanical, electrical, Chemical etc. All have the same type of course on first year then after according to their respective branch subject gets changes. It's divided in 8 semester's. Each semester have 2 test of all subjects viva and a final exam of all subjects. Each semester carries 5-6 subjects.
Placement Experience
In our college many multinational companies and national companies including PSU's are recruiting at attractive salary package. Also it provides internship opportunity to students in many branches including CS, IT, Mechanical Engineering. I went through vocational training program in different companies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Annually approximately 70000 is taken under fee but their are lot of scheme under scholarship program by state government and central government. Also based on family income fee can be reliable for students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship on the basis of family income. In this scholarship students having less family income don't have to pay more than 6000-8000 for their fees and also there are scholarship for merit students.
Campus Life
In our College their are different committee for different type of work like Gogreen committee for environment protection, Nrityam for dance and drama learning, Raga for singing and music development and many other departmental clubs. Our college have good practical labs in each department which contains much efficient facilities to perform all the needed practicals. It have all sports facilities like football, cricket, volleyball, hockey, badminton, khokho etc. Also have a gym for physical fitness.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is good. Living rooms are large and also cleaning is good. It contains badminton court also and indoor games like table tennis. For food there is mess but food quality is not too good.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college is very old college from 1956. It have a very large alumni network. They are posted at different places and different responsibilities. Each help campus student to get a good job and bringing the company for campus placement. Many of them are CEO's of different companies. Also alumni association provides many helps.
Admission
We have to pass JEEMAIN entrance exam to get addmission in NIT colleges in India and on basis of cutoff we got admission in different NIT's in different branch merit rank. Each college have different cutoff based on student demand. Better the rank better will be branch and college.
Faculty
Faculty of our college were good and they have lot of knowledge and experience. They all are master's in their area of interest subject. Their teaching styles are unique and interesting. All have also good practical knowledge.
