Entrance Preview

AIEEE My score was 170 and at that particular time, this college was the best available option. Online counseling of JAC offers admission to a group of 5 colleges, one of which is UIET.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is good, its based on the syllabus of other premier institutes of the country. The curriculum supports a lot of practical work if followed properly. Frequent Tutorials are also planned for developing practical approach in students.

Internships Opportunities

College provides internship to 1st and 2nd year students, overall learning is good in that period. Stipend is not provided.

Placement Experience

Placement of EEE branch is very poor. Most of the companies visiting to campus are CSE/IT companies. Packages offered by consultancies like deloitte and ZS associates are good, but when core placements are considered 3-4lpa is max .

Fees and Financial Aid

A scholarship program for EWS section students is available. Loan facility is not provided by the college. It has to be availed by students on their own.

Alumni/Alumna

A large alumni network, working in very good places. A separate team focusing on alumni relations is working constantly. Every possible help is done by alumni once you reach them out.

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location.
