Woxsen School of Business review

Being a first-year student and pursuing my PGDM in Woxsen School Of Business, With no doubt I want to say that this college is one of the best colleges in Hyderabad. The management is really good and builds the student in such a way he/she can achieve his/her goal. If you are planning to pursue PGDM, you can choose Woxsen undoubtedly.

The placements in the college are really good. The average package offered is 8 lacs and the highest package went to 12-13 lacs. We had a mixture of big recruiters and startup firms in a healthy ratio. KPMG, EY, Yes Bank, Dell, and other leading names were there along with startups like Grab On, etc. The placement ratio is generally high in the college.

There are many events that have been celebrated until now, from July, and many of the events are yet to be conducted as per the planned schedule by the club presidents. Sports and cultural club events - Treasure hunt, 8 ball pool tournament, TT championship, Woxsen Football league and many more have been conducted.

I was offered a scholarship of 15% on my tuition fees and the rest of the college helped me a lot in getting the loan.

The Woxsen campus is a self-contained ecosystem that provides students with extensive facilities to learn, practice and develop their ideas. The infrastructure has been planned to aid a healthy exchange of knowledge. The students are from various places and thus college is having a good cultural diversity.

Hostel facility is good in Woxsen as it provides with all the basic and necessary things, Rooms are fully air-conditioned, and furnished. There is a recreation area, gym, swimming pool available for students and also there is a convenience store which provides all the other necessary items needed by students.

The college has a good network with the alumni as they keep visiting the campus in order to guide the students for future plans and share their experiences with them. Alumni and the senior students are really helpful as they will continue mentoring through various stages.

I came to know about this college at the time of filling my NMAT exam form. I consulted with my mentor (of IMS coaching) and the reviews were really good from his end. So I visited the college website and got to know about the admission criteria which was an entrance test (in case if you have not given any of the MBA entrance tests) followed by a personal interview (skype). After getting my NMAT result I asked the admission team to schedule my interview in Jan 2019 and based on my performance (including my academics) I got selected.

The faculty members at Woxsen School are from the best B-schools around the world, which not only provide the best subject knowledge but also mentor the students through various stages, in order to develop the required skills for achieving their goal. Through a judicious mix of resident and visiting faculty, Woxsen brings together the best knowledge applicable to both the Indian and global contexts.
